Early mail in. Voted with my 18yr old kid as well. Their first time. Pretty cool.

Racerbvd 11-06-2018 02:40 PM

Of course

Craig T 11-06-2018 02:53 PM

Heck yeah!

Voted early and often...not! Have not missed voting since 1969.

Appointment with the foot surgeon today and didn’t know how long it would take.
So I voted last week.

Last week. Knew I would be out of town. Super easy.

Arizona_928 11-06-2018 03:33 PM

Yep. Now I will watch the world burn!

MMiller 11-06-2018 03:41 PM

Sure did...last week. Watching now to see how it all turns out.

Nope..not here in Oregon. I hold the firm belief that election fraud is rampant here with 100% mail only voting. I don't play 3 card monte on street corners for the same reason. To participate in a rigged election is to give it legitimacy.

Let's see.to register in Oregon, fill out a form, mail it in. Be sure to check the box claiming citizenship. No biggie if one has already violated the law by being here illegally.

Then wait for your ballot to come in the mail, fill it out, then mail it to a county clerk to be counted.

You are never asked to see an elections official face to face or to present any I.D. After all, that would be considered a "rights violation".

Easy Peasy, eh? A Chicago ward bosses dream...

Oregon is a lost cause...the left owns this state politically.

(edit) How it was when I first registered to vote in Oregon.

Showed my birth certificate and driver's license to a clerk. Both of us smiling because she'd known me for years...a neighbor. Then I received a voter's card that I had to show to a volunteer at the poling location, sign my name for signature comparison in a ledger that showed I had voted, then I was handed a ballot.

A bit of a contrast, eh?

Not for a couple three hours yet, I'll prolly be one of the last here to vote 'cept for those in Hawaii.

wdfifteen 11-06-2018 04:26 PM

Yes, I did vote. My civic duty and all that. It did feel good to cast a ballot
But.
45 minutes after the polls closed they announced the “winner” in my congressional district. I live in such a heavily gerrymandered district that they could have called this one a year ago. For all the hoopla about our right to vote, it still is a very flawed system.

First time I voted early - I will do this again

Yes sir, took the four block walk to the park building and voted just like I do for any and every election since I’ve lived here- 22 years.

DaveE 11-06-2018 04:40 PM

No early voting in PA. I voted after work.

devodave 11-06-2018 04:42 PM

Yes, of course!

ckelly78z 11-06-2018 04:53 PM

2:45 this afternoon, walked right up to the desk, and was out in less than 10 minutes....Civic Duty !

HAHA, I said Dooty !

onewhippedpuppy 11-06-2018 05:55 PM

I also walked right in at about 7:15 AM, in and out, took about 10 min. Easy!

rfuerst911sc 11-07-2018 03:25 AM

The wife and I voted early last week we're happy and proud to be part of the process . Hopefully at some point politicians can set party politics aside and work together for the good of the country !
