Been doing this for ten years....10 minute process, start to finsh. One of my Jax buddies (voting for only the 2nd or 3rd time ever) went last Sun., but the line was huge....didn't, same again yesterday morning, didn't. I doubt the line was any shorter yesterday afternoon when he was "going" to return....bet he didn't vote :(

Vote early! ....and often ;)!

Love to see folks engaged...regardless!

Yes, I voted. It didn't make a difference here. People voted for more government and less freedom. But hey, it looks like the legislature can get rid of daylight savings time now.

Same here. The Party has an iron grip on Ohio. Same old same old, year after year.

Too many large metropolitan areas in Ohio, that all are progressive thinkers, that have never soiled their hands with real work.

I am fairly certain the same is true in California. Progressives are crushing the life out of it

I voted anyway.

Only thing that surprised me is the gas and registration taxes were not repealed. Choice between unacceptable and intolerable candidates for Senate. I bet a half a million people refused to pick either one of those POS. Only good thing is DiFi will be a sitting senator when she is indicted.

I thought we were keeping this non PARF. can't we leave the 'I voted but it was no good' or the 'my state is full of idiots from the opposite party' to PARF and keep this as a celebration of something good in our society for once?

When it's a completely rigged game it's not good. Everybody loses, no matter who wins.

My rose tinted glasses are in the shop, sorry.

Can't believe I actually voted for Feinstein, the alternative was Kevin De Leon...both dems.

Interesting de-tour from he thread at hand. I believe Beverly Hills was originally part of Birmingham, but the houses were large and on more land. Sometime in the late 50's they voted themselves a separate community which later changed it's name to Beverly Hills. Then in the 70's people realized how awesome a real down town was. Birmingham then took off, property prices went through the roof, property tax went through the roof and the vast vast majority of the old houses were torn down and rebuilt 3-4-5 times their original size.

Today Beverly Hills is still part of Birmingham schools, library etc. but we officially a Village and we use Southfield township to collect our taxes etc. Southfield township is not part of Southfield and is only 0.2 Sq miles in area.

Whatever. The upshot is, we effectively live in Birmingham lite, have access to all Birmingham's facilities, live in smaller cheaper houses on larger lots than Birmingham residents yet pay a fraction of their property taxes and laugh at our good fortune.

Back to our regularly scheduled election back patting.
