Oil cap residue question - information

Car is a 99 911. Pulled oil cap and looked like this? Wondering if I should even blow money on PPI. Coolant was clean. Thanks

Drive it long enough to fully warm up

Probably just condensation on the cap, very common on 996’s

Yes -- M96 motors get "mayonnaise" under the oil cap if driven with lots of short trips. Indicative of condensation in the crankcase, but not really a problem. Wipe it off, stay on top of oil changes, and drive the car.
