Teacher Punches Out Mouthy Student, Go Fund Me Support over $98,000 Now

I can't believe this hasn't come up. A 64 year old music teacher at south central school asks a kid to leave the classroom form bad behavior and failing to comply with the class uniform. The kid tells him to go F-off and throws a basketball at the teacher. The teach is calm at first, then the kid gets in his face and calls him the N-word. teach clocks him! Full blown fight breaks or. The teacher, a favorite amongst the kids is arrested and out on bail.

A student sets up a Go Fund Me account for the teacher's legal bills. It's up to $89,000 in 48 hours and climbing. I'm sure the parents will sue the school and the teacher, but the Go Fund Me is telling g the world we sick and tired of these smart zzz'd delinquent kid with no respect for anyone.

The first thing I noticed is all the males I could see seem to have hoodies on, many of them with the hood up. Is this the class uniform he didn't comply with? It seems like a really bad idea to have high school kids sitting around a classroom with hoods up. I think hoodies are banned in many high schools around here as they are not real conducive to a learning environment. Just my opinion.

I didn't want to say anything...But I did. $20 bucks! "Little chit" is right.

I'm not saying a teacher punching out a kid is a good thing. It's not. But you know that kid is trouble, likely a bully, and bound for a life in prison. I hate to see the teacher lose his pension of that act of self defense.

It's unfortunate that it's almost certainly going to adversely affect the guys life/livelihood. This is Cali, they'll probably throw the book at the old guy. Well, he is a "teacher" so hopefully, he taught the kid a little something about respect or at least that sometimes when you run your mouth it gets popped. I won't donate to the guy, but I do understand where he's coming from and wish him well.

Hopefully, he can go somewhere and get a job when this is all done.

That is a fairly tough kid to still be standing after the first hit to the face.

I'm not going to say this or that based on what is obviously edited coverage.

I do however recall my great teenage great grand mother taking to task the bullies, but she used the mechanical advantage of a stout long wooden board. She struck first, and she struck from behind.

She had no problems after that.

The past teachers prior had been beaten up on their first day.

While not everyone learns from violence; for some it seems to be the only language they speak until they meet someone stronger that teaches them otherwise.

This reminds me of those stories.
"If a drill every got into my face I would hit him".
Sad truth. Drill would destroy your life.

From that video it looks like the teacher threw the first punch. While I would agree that some of the trouble makers who make it impossible for other kids to learn deserve an ass kicking a teacher needs to have better control of his emotions and should never punch a child in the face.

Resisting authority is a great American tradition. Dumbass kid needs the learn how and when to do it. Its not something we do trivially. I hope the kid and others learn from this. The GoFund me support is great.
