That was a great laugh. You gotta love Tim Conway. I miss that type of humor. Tim

I miss the days when network TV was actually entertaining instead of political.
Funniest thing? At an open pool tournament that offered decent prize money, a decent league player warning his opponent that he had a "master" ranking. Poor guy didn't have a clue he was saying this to the #1 ranked player on the planet... Hey, comedy routines are fun, being done by pros. But to me, funny yet unexpected happening are better.

I like Tim Conway too. He is in bad shape now. Alzheimers.
This is my favorite.

Get off my lawn!

We went to Ron White in person back in his early days at a local club. It was at a small comedy club and we were within a few feet of the stage. He had us laughing so hard it was physically uncomfortable, and I was hoping he would tell a dud of a joke so I could catch my breath. My sides were actually hurting. The next day I was sore from laughing so hard. My face hurt, as did my sides.

On TV, Burt Reynolds and Dom Deluise on the Tonight show.
In person it was when our host at Denny's was showing interest in our 6'6" friend so when we went to pay I was in line behind 6'6" guy and couldn't see the host through our friend but could see him in the camera monitor. When the host looked down to put the money in the till I made a short loud kissing noise. The look on that friends face had us nearly passing out from not being able to breath laughing so hard.

Rodney D and Tim C, seriously funny. As a kid I remember loving Tim C in the Carol Burnette show, but since these outtakes have been available on youtube, wow!

This time of year, I think of the Turkey Drop episode from WKRP in Cincinnati. "As God as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly."

First time I saw this I was absolutely in stitches. Then, later, the Holy Grail, especially the black knight scene. Holy cow, my sides were hurting.
I've had a love of absurd British comedy ever since.

Oh yeah. I remember these, too.
Bill Cosby. Right and 8:15/12:15 George Carlin, Class Clown Cheech and Chong, Big Bambu and Steve Martin. all 4 albums had me rolling on the ground with tears in my eyes....

Holy Grail and Life of Brian are two of the most brilliant movies ever.
The turkey drop from the helicopter is a classic WKRP episode. That was a great show.

The exotic pet store in my college town was a family run business and connected to their furniture store. The young man showing my friend a 4 foot iguana under estimated the critter’s resolve and he dropped it when it decided to whip him with its tail. I had never witnesssed a green Carl Lewis before that moment as it rocketed to the front of the store on the dead run and sometimes wonder if it was ever found amongst all those BarcaLoungers.
