I’m just glad to see a company be able to change product mix without laying people off. Working in Aerospace I’ve already seen way too many layoffs, sucks to see people lose their jobs when they haven’t done anything wrong.

Kudos. If I had the right idea, I'd be independent. My problem is that I'm better at making the creative vision of others a reality than I am actually creating that vision. I'm more of a pragmatist than a visionary I guess. Oh well, somebody has to tell the engineers that they can't make everything out of titanium and carbon fiber.:cool:

Yes I spent 26 years with the nations largest defense contractor so have seen/been part of MANY assembly lines from circuit boards to aircraft including C5's/C130's and F35's but never in the automotive field . So my comments/observations are from a defense industry view .
