Looking for a printer that works well with Chromebook and mobile devices

Hello, do anyone have a recommendation for a printer that works well with Chromebook and mobile devices?

My very old HP all-in-one doesn't want to connect to my Chromebook (or vice-versa) and I'd also like to easily print from my phone and other mobile devices.

I'm looking for very basic/cheep.

Any suggestions, or better yet first hand experience?

Thanks...

For phones/tablets or at least iPhones and iPads you are looking for "Wireless Direct Printing" capabilities.

As to supporting the Chromebook, I've not had issues with HP products and my Linux desktop/laptops so I'd head that direction also, and I would actually expect to see Chromebooks support listed on the box.

I'd also look into the "ink for forever" deals if your printing usage makes it attractive

So... whatever $OFFICE_STORE has on sale from HP for under $100.

I opt for the Canon family that takes ink tanks rather than cartridges. Ink is about 10% the cost of replacement cartridges. We've got several of the "MFC" Canon models in the family. I pay about $10 for replacement of 4 tanks- RCY and Black.

Not sure about the Chromebook, don't have one.

Our Epson ET-2750 works great with iPhones and everything else connected to it so far.

It is one of the new style cartridge-less ones that you fill with bottles of ink.

So far, it has been excellent.

I use a couple of Epsons WF-3520 without problems.

I also ran into issues with slightly older HP (kept dropping network and other connection issues) and have given up on HP. The Epsons have been rock solid.

I have the Epson ET-2550 Eco tank uses the bottles rather than cartridges as well- been very happy, I hate those stupid cartridges.

I print from my iPad easily.

More expensive than the cartridge based printer initially, but in the long run a better value.

I gave up on ink printers. Cost per page too high.

Main workhorse at home is a Brother B&W laser/scanner. Good printing & scanning app for iPhone. Cheap Toners.

For color we have a Dell color laser. Again, sub $100, and inexpensive toners.

We bought a factory refurbished Brother MFC-9130CW (colour laser) for <$200. After years of enduring disposable inkjet printers, we've been very pleased with the Brother's cost(s) and performance.

I recommend Canon TS9120 Wireless Printer. It will work with mobile devices and with a PC. It has a 4800 by 1200 dpi resolution for both images and documents coupled with a 6-color ink system for quality and speed. When I was looking for mechanical engineering assignment help, this device was very useful to me for drawings and photos, since this permission was really enough for me. In addition, the printer has been designed specifically for printing photographs, a job it does very well.

Ended up with a super cheap HP from Wally World. The printer was literally less than the cost of the ink it came with. When it comes time to get new cartridges I'll be better off just buying another printer, taking the ink out, and throwing the rest away.

Setup was a bit clunky because I had to download crap from HP to my laptop (Chromebook not supported for this step) to be able to set the IP etc. But once connected I had no problem printing from multiple accounts on the Chromebook and my Android phone.

Thanks all for the input!
