The rules as outlined in the second annual gift exchange:
The rules are simple: 1. You're giving a gift (anonymously, if you wish) to another Pelican. You'll know who they are, but they will only know who YOU are if you tell 'em. 2. Your gift can be anything...you already have in the house. No going out and buying anything. You've gotta already have it lying around. 3. Shipping of the package is limited to $5, or thereabouts. This is not meant to be extravagant--it's meant to be fun. 4. Gift should arrive to recipient by Christmas. Gift is not supposed to be opened (unless there are extenuating circumstances) until Christmas. 5. Post the gift you receive online.

I ran the exchange the last 2 years it was run. (We didn't have it last year)
I will assist someone if they want to know how. and for rule 3 - shipping - you can't ship anything but an envelope for $5. Might as well bump it to $10.

Thanks Mark, I don't especially want to run this, just getting the ball rolling.
And yes I agree, $5 shipping isn't going to happen. I put the 'rules' in to give any newb's an idea what was going on.
