You don't see many "T;s" on a Lexus, or "N's" on an Infiniti either. Really great cars. Have to give credit where credit is due.

A friend of mine test drove the 2013 model and LOVED it...but she bought a Toyota Avalon.

The new Hyundais are nice. Friend of mine just picked up a Veloster turbo. Very nice car for the money.

The Koreans have really stepped up their game on design and feature set.

I suspect they'll do to the Germans what Japan did to the Americans.

I've been in a couple of them and they've come a long way from their early models. They have a Turbo coupe that's a lot of car for the $.

I recently bought a 2013 Veloster Turbo. Incredible car for the price. It will never be a classic but it sure makes a great daily driver. It has a ton of options, 10 year warranty, great pickup once you get past 15 mph, and I average 32 MPG with the 6 spd with a third pedal.
I'm trying to get the wife to consider a Genesis Coupe.

I doubt they will shake up the Germans, rather than the Lexus, Ifniniti and Acura line of cars, who took a chunk out of the Germans already on the American market.

One thing that has unfortunately happened with Hyundai is that they are now practically the same price as their competition. The only thing still standing out is their long warranty period.

The Genesis Coupe even has a "track" version. I drove a 3.6L Track version (2013), it was tons of fun to drive, but did understeer quite a bit. Maybe the track version with the smaller engine would be better.
