That yellow Ferrari of his. I remember going out there the first time thinking, this is a rich guy's drive with F car and all. 84 porsche has a red Targa didn't he? I have gone to a number of those down there, but the drive out was an hour and early. I can still remember some of you guys hanging out eating after the run back near Ortega where most guys have driven off home. I stuck around a couple of times.

One time, this early car what came out with us. It was so loud and the popping from the over run was in sane when he was simple pulling through the gas station. He was a Latino man. Never saw him again.

I have a red 930 cab.

I think I remember you, Alex but can't remember Kevin at all. Especially from Pasadena. Kevin, do you go that cars and coffee at La Canada that Sherwood puts on. I show up a couple of time a year. A bunch of really cool local guys show up.

follow-up

Kevin,

sorry for the delay..... don't usually log on during the weekends.

let me check on the date that 1st run was on.......

i think our 1st run was early 2005 like january or february ish.......

Richard got his Ferrari a while AFTER our 1st runs....... he was (is) super cool to let us jump into his Fcar...... trusting for sure. it was nice of him to host that Xmas party a few years ago too.

Mrs Pre-H20 and I were talking the other day about the other xmas party we had when SOCG went to dinner and she ordered that steak for dinner and it ended up looking like a FLINTSTONES steak..... it was the size of a side of beef... we all had a good laugh that night......

Look171................. yes 84Porsche did have and HAS a 84 red targa. like me he has it in his garage and focused on his baby boy........ i have 2 little knuckleheads.
yes... we often had lunch together after the runs and other guys headed home. we kept the group together for years and years.... WE STILL GET TOGETHER, there is a core group of 6-7 guys..... we had a bar b que at my house just a couple of months ago. we are do for another one now... i think 84 porshe offered his house to host it. if not.. BACK to my house. i just finished my remodel of my patio.
I'm sure we would remember one another if we hung out, although its hard to remember everyone over the years, alot of guys come and go.

oops......

mistake.

our 1st run was 8/29/2004.

even earlier than i thought....... i reached out to 84Porsche and he has a freaking spreadsheet of our runs.....

i had a sneaky suspicion it was earlier as i moved to socal 2/23/04 and it was soon after i moved that i went on that 1st run and met Chris, Kelly......

i wonder when PatrickB came out his 1st time?

funny thing is all these pcar guys ended up in my wedding as groomsmen....... wow.

Is his name Chris? He was slender built about 5'8 to 5'-10"? I think he and I may have driven up to GAF up in Venture during those years.

My knuckle heads were born in 05 and 07, so the car sat for a little and worked like crazy and try to keep up with life. Funny how that happens?

I'm definitely interested. As long as I don't have any conflicting events on the same date, i'm game!
