Really liked Toni's voice and felt it was wasted on the pop stuff they put out. Daryl was a pretty good keyboardist as well.
Did a several hundred mile solo bicycle trip in '75 with a transistor radio for company and could not escape Muskrat Love. Almost 45 years later, I still cringe if I hear a single note of the song.

Exactly, and I realize I've made a mistake to click on this link because now I need to find some earworm repellent if I'm gonna work all day without that crap stuck in my brain,....

Ramblin' Man by Dickey Betts oughta do it.

Bet most folks don't realize they were touring members of the beach boys, with Toni being the only "beach girl".

During the duo's period of highest popularity, Tennille also worked as a session singer (most frequently partnered with The Beach Boys' Bruce Johnston), performing as a backing vocalist on the Elton John albums Caribou, Blue Moves, and 21 at 33 (some vocally arranged by Dragon) and most notably on the hit track "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me". She also appeared as a backing vocalist on tracks by Art Garfunkel and The Beach Boys, as well as Pink Floyd for whom she performed backing tracks on The Wall album.
I did not know that ^^^^^
