Crockpot venison stew recipe
My wife got me an Instantpot for Christmas, and I just made my first batch of venison stew. Very tasty, but my daughter didn't like it, and I understand why. The recipe I used had brown ale, mushrooms, bay, rosemary, thyme....very earthy flavor profile.
Can anyone recommend a bit more approachable recipe? More of a 'comfort food' style stew? This was the recipe I used: https://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/slow-cooker-venison-stew

I've not made this in an instapot, but I REALLY love this recipe.

A crock pot and instant pot will have very different texture to the meat, I am not sure they are very interchangeable.

The recipe that I posted above has mushrooms, but I think the wine and herbs keep it from being super earthy (at least to me).
