Very cool...

A friend of mine has one for plowing his lot and mowing fields to keep bushes down. Mud will stop them. They do not have a lot of clearance. Other than that, thumbs up.

In running condition I've seen them go for a few grand up to 20+ (for this model which was made in the early to late 80s IIRC).

I looked into those as well, very cool units. Interestingly there was one at this same auction (2008) in very rough shape and it went for ~$5,500.

Had to throw it right into service with the crazy weather up here over the last couple of weeks.

I did find a great dealer in the U.P. (Michigan) that has tons of stock and great prices for parts. I wasn't expecting that so it's a huge bonus.

I moved ten times this much snow over the last week but I took this right after it started, not exactly great camera work :)

1981 BMW 320i - I placed a cheeky bid on BAT with a 320 at the end, pleased with myself I thought for sure I would get out bid. I stopped the bidding with my amazing sense of humor. I won the car, transferred the funds, and arranged shipping from Denver to Florida. Wife was not amused.

I have considered making it my 15 y/o sons first car, just trying to figure out insuring it. I guess we could toss good liability coverage and skip the collision and comp. It runs perfect and drives as smooth as silk.

I had one in 1994 it was a 1979 320i.
