At one point this was going to be a first car for my teenage daughter. Now it is my toy. The only regret will be that family will soon decide for me that it needs to be sold to pay for something else. Sigh.

This...

It' s a 1/8 metal model of my favorite car of all times I accidentally found on Ebay in europe. Lights turn on and stuff, weighs 14 lbs... I don't need it. Total Impulse. Too expensive (who knew the Euro was doing so well, not this guy!).
Still, I will never own the real thing, so there... No regrets.

Except for the exchange rate.

I don't make impulse purchases. I keep lists of things I want to buy. I research them. I find better versions or things I'd rather have, and update and/or cull the lists. Usually when I pull the trigger on something, it's been on a list for months to years. When I pull the trigger might be an impulse.

^I'm generally the same but once in a while I find a 'great deal' or just really need something. Usually tools/equipment. I usually rethink it as I'm trying to get it out of the truck. Or when I realize it needs something else to work.

Alright, I'm just gonna fess up! I bought a pair of white denim jeans once. I'm not proud of it... but I did it even though my wife said "You'll never wear those"... I showed her! I put them on in the dressing room and then once more before she brought them to the thrift store... years later.

A .410 spoon a couple years back. Always wanted one as a kid and just decided it was time to have one as a big (old) kid.
And, the biggie, a 2000 Boxter while my SC was in for a bare metal paint job.

My latest impulse buy was on Saturday...i didn't go out on sunday...stayed in a made Eggplant Parma..a whole big roasting pan full. Anyway I digress...on Saturday I bought one of those Gorilla erector set work baenchs for $16 at a thrift. Gonna use It for my other impulse buy a Dillion 550 reloading press that I bought at an auction in upstate NY..that was $431 delivered...came with a set of Dillion does and a nice homemade wooden box to store it in. Now you just know I had to buy those 3 Dillion quick change tool heads with the powder resoviors and pile of Dillion extra parts at another auction for 355.

But I needed it cause I already had bought Redding comp reloading dies with the dillion tool heads for 30 06 and 308 not to mention recently the rcbs carbide dies in 44 mag, 45 acp, 45 lc, 45 70, 38 55 and 32 40...and I don't even have a spoon in 32 40...but now i will...

Which reminds me about the Unertl 24x target scope in the factory wood box that I bought on the 2nd...that is for the cpa spoon I had built...
