I'm optimistically hopeful for this season, but not hopefully optimistic  BTW Ole Sam Darnold looked pretty good in his NFL day-boot. Better than I expected. |

I'm getting fired up. Got lots of home canned manwich and salsa stockpiled. Gotta check my bank with Bovada this week and make sure I'm all set. Then all I need are beer and chips. Gonna set a second TV up next to the main video unit. It's a pain with Direct TV, as it doesn't record anything you aren't watching. With cable i could tune in a game, switch to another game when a commercial came on, come back to the first game and rewind back past the commercial. No more. I need two TVs.

I'm hoping for one SEC win this year. That will constitute a winning season. 6-6 and bowl game will be the equivalent of a national championship.

Nothing wrong with plugging your home team...
Whenever I get down about the Beavers, I go to youtube, watch them in the 2001 Fiesta Bowl. Eastern sports press said the Beavers didn't belong on the same field as Notre Dame. Turned out they were right. The new head coach this year was the QB of that game. Hey, can't be any worse than last year, right? Highlights of that game. Notre Dame fans may not wish to watch. Mich has a Sat night game at Notre Dame to start the season.
Not very confident about that. Wish it were the second or third game of the season instead.

This guy is really a piece of work. He wanted out of UF because he was exhausted wanted to spend time with his family. Until OSU called and he's all better.

Was just in Columbus yesterday and had some "discussions" with a few folks close to the process. There was no way he was getting canned at this juncture. Had this all come out closer to the end of last year/early this, Scott Frost might be leading the team.
