What was she thinking??

What drove this young woman to do this?? I'm betting she regrets it. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1548778895.jpg

GH85Carrera 01-29-2019 07:27 AM

I doubt much at all goes into her thinking process.

bivenator 01-29-2019 07:30 AM

Obviously a really big fan of Fantasy Island.

Seems a bit judgemental imo....I gotta see the other side first :(.

yellowperil 01-29-2019 07:39 AM

Further to my above post,

What was the tattoo "artist" thinking?? He perhaps should have told her to come back after thinking this through. Or perhaps she gets this on her ass where it belongs.

Craig T 01-29-2019 07:45 AM

My guess is it's her son and she recently lost him.

I knew a woman who lost her son and tattooed his birth and death date on her arm. Judgement blinded by grief. Two years later, when her grieving subsided, she started the tattoo removal.

bivenator 01-29-2019 07:52 AM

The image is a british pop star. I think Harry Styles.

This...and for the love of all humanity, please let it be temporary.

Also, how are tat removal businesses not on every street corner? That seems to have a lot of potential.

Porchdog 01-29-2019 07:55 AM

"Lifelong reminder of a temporary feeling"

yikes.

she should have ponied up more money and hired a better artist. that looks like the Gerber baby to me.

craigster59 01-29-2019 08:02 AM

I guess she was featured on his first solo album cover. They said it was to pay homage for giving her a start in her career but I think it's a publicity stunt (you would hope).

JackDidley 01-29-2019 08:20 AM

Thats gonna leave a mark........

This.

A Kiwi singer has done something drastic to get a pop star's attention - she's gotten a face tattoo.

New Zealand-born, Gold Coast-raised singer Kelsy Karter shocked her followers by posting several photos on social media of her new tattoo - a picture of Harry Styles on her right cheek.

Craig T 01-29-2019 08:54 AM

Well that's good to know. I'd much rather know she's just an idiot than a mother who's grieving.

You post made me feel like a total POS for a bit....seriously. Something that hadn't crossed my mind....thank you.

Norm K 01-29-2019 09:13 AM

Not to worry, that'll buff right out.

It's not a little kid, it's a rock star which she had the hots for. Harry Styles.

Oops you'all knew that already. I'll say again, I think the artist should NOT have done that.

As you would expect, removal is way more involved than placement. AFAIK, it takes the course of a medical procedure. And it can take months of treatments under medical supervision. And it's very expensive.

How's a little boutique gonna make that work as a business model?

kach22i 01-29-2019 09:33 AM

This will keep other women away from her man.

Singer Kelsy Karter gets tattoo of Harry Styles’ face on her own face

She Mike Tyson'd herself.

While we are on the topic, what's the dumbest thing you have ever done?

vash 01-29-2019 09:39 AM

i used to think a beautiful girl can do pretty much anything and still be beautiful.

i stand corrected.

Hahahaha! Asking a tattoo artist not to draw a tattoo on a paying customer because its a tacky image or bad location is a little like asking a hardened crack dealer not to sell crack to someone under 21. Neither are known for their conviction to morality.

You are so right, but still...….

And I must say, I do feel bad for that poor girl.

GH85Carrera 01-29-2019 10:15 AM

I will stick to my original answer. She was not thinking with her brains.

Like most of us when we were 18 or so, the brain is not the head we used for many decisions. She was using a different body part in her decision making, not her brains.

Vipergrün 01-29-2019 10:15 AM

She bit her own ear off?

This topic is gonna require some thought...a lot actually....

legion 01-29-2019 10:55 AM

There's rumors circulating that this is a hoax to jump-start her career. We'll see.

VincentVega 01-29-2019 11:01 AM

Maybe they were out of tshirts

speeder 01-29-2019 11:01 AM

It's insane that that is legal. I know, it's your own body and everything but it's still mutilation.

Here Here ! I don't think any tattoo looks good on anybody, (my daughter has two), but that's my opinion, and not a very popular one at that !

stealthn 01-29-2019 12:36 PM

Not even duct tape can fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound a bit...

rfuerst911sc 01-29-2019 01:09 PM

There is no cure for stupid , oh well carry on .

I had a seriously non-PC comment to this...but deleted

Think Lorena Bobbit...

+1

You get one face.

If an old Phil Spector gets a face tat, who cares?

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1548800305.jpg

Subject face in a better time, I guess. Unfortunate.

Likely another Amy Winehouse

Heading down the same path, perhaps. Amy had Blake Fielder-Civil to help her along
and I'm sure someone will help Kelsey along. It was too much for Amy, we'll see how this plays out with this one. She seems to be past the 27 yr age, so she might make it yet. She does have quite a voice BTW

Steve Carlton 01-29-2019 01:44 PM

She's gotta be in the upper right corner of the crazy-hot matrix.
