Extortion email scam - it works apparrently.

So I got this email today to our business account:

Your account is now hacked! It will be good idea to change the password right this moment!
You probably do not know me me and you are definitely wondering for what reason you are reading this particular letter, right?
I'mhacker who openedyour email boxand digital devicestwo months ago.
It will be a time wasting to try out to communicate with me or try to find me, it is definitely impossible, since I sent you this message using YOUR account that I've hacked.
I installed malware soft on the adult vids (porn) site and guess you enjoyed this website to have a good time (you know what I want to say).
During you have been keeping an eye on video clips, your internet browser began operating like a RDP (Remote Control) with a keylogger that gave me authority to access your screen and web camera.
After that, my softgatheredall info.
You typed passwords on the online resources you visited, and I caught them.
Of course, you can modify them, or have already changed them.
Even so it does not matter, my spyware renews it regularly.
What actually did I do?
I got a backup of the device. Of each file and contact lists.
I got a dual-screen video. The first part demonstrates the clip you had been watching (you have got the perfect taste, haha...), the second screen shows the tape from your camera.
What do you have to do?
Clearly, I believe, 1000 USD will be a fair amount of money for this small riddle. You will make the deposit by bitcoins (if you do not understand this, try to find “how to purchase bitcoin” in any search engine).

What you may not know is that you can lookup balance in a bitcoin wallet using the address. SO just out of curiousity I checked the one this idiot provided.

My spam filter stops 5 or 6 of those a day. They just bitcoin mining.

Yea, I got a similar email. I use a full tower computer and a 27 inch monitor. I don't so Skype, so I have no camera or microphone attached to the system. He claimed he had video of me "polishing the Pope", and I was not too concerned about that for multiple reasons. All of the sex takes place in the dungeon and we don't allow any recording devices down in the dungeon as they get ruined when the whips and chains knock then down.

I got this one a few weeks ago. Checked the wallet and it had no activity at that time. So apparently this scam doesn’t work. I’m surprised anyone smart enough to transfer BTC would be dumb enough to fall for this.

I got that email about 3 weeks ago. Actually the guy was badgering me every other day. I just ignored him, sent his mail to spam, then trashed it, and no more.

Lately I have been watching youtube videos by a guy that scams the scammers. Super funny. One in particular, he spent 3 hours calling them and tying up there phones. Linked the lines so they called each other. Great time waster.
