Anyone here sell health or life insurance?

After my recent job loss and a close friend who's been doing very well at this for a while, I'll have my Health and Life license by this time next week. I'm still looking for a W2 job, but seriously considering a 1099 gig as an independent agent. My only real concern is springing huge money for leads. Anyone here do this and have some stories to share?

My sister was a middle school teacher that got fed up and went into selling insurance. She went back to teaching after a year. She hated the number or hours.

Yes. 15 years. PM me. I am a w2 at an independent agency. It’s a good living but the stress can be high.

I spend zero on leads. Don’t know anyone that does.

I would recommend PC as it pays better. Or, sell both - I do.
