Leaking Trans Hose Cause

my 2012 tsx wagon has a weeping trans filter hose. Is this due to the clamps or the hose getting dried out? Was wondering if different hose clamps might fix the issue.

Squeeze the rubber. Is it brittle/hard

That style relies on metal memory. Also notice the hose is not fully on.
You may be able to clean and re-seat it but probably not.

Could the filter need changing, is clogged, and thus incoming line pressure is too high?

I think the smooth ones are generally better than the standard screw type if you can find it in a tuner or specialty store.

Spring clamps are the preferred hardware for this application because they generate very even clamping force. I would replace the hose and clamps as it is probably aged out.
