Fook.

But I'm not sure. I've only had it said to me "fook yo."

Rick Lee 02-19-2019 07:47 PM

Mrs. Lee says it's not Chinese.

rusnak 02-19-2019 08:08 PM

Two storm troopers doing it wookie style?

Steve Carlton 02-19-2019 08:14 PM

It says "penis scared of your bicycle racing helmet."

This isn't a close friend... someone I know from a couple of FB groups. I think he said it's supposed to be "universe"... or maybe "friendship." I have no experience with Chinese or Japanese but it's never looked right to my untrained eye.

MRM 02-20-2019 06:48 AM

Modern Japanese and Korean writing is based on the old style Chinese characters, so there is some commonality between the written languages. Someone from China in their 40s or older learned enough of the ancient writing to be able to read Japanese and Korean, even though the spoken languages are completely different. Those aren't real characters from any Asian language. They may be stylized from the original characters that are supposed to mean something, but those are not authentic characters.

You mean someone from Japan and Korea can read Chinese, not the other way around.

I think that FB friend is either full of s..., pulling your leg, or is dumb as a brick and does n't know that is a sexual graphic meant to look, at first glance, like Asian writing. It works, because to your untrained eye it appears to be a legitimate form of writing;).

I think they can all read each other's language. I know a Chinese who can read the old style characters can read or at least understand a lot of modern Korean and Japanese. I think it works the other way around, too, but I don't know for sure.

Nothing says friendship like hitting it from behind!

911 Rod 02-20-2019 08:17 AM

Definitely close friends after that exercise.

Mebbe my Chinese ain't fluent....who knows?

Eric at Pelican Parts 02-20-2019 10:56 AM

Now that doesn't look Chinese to me, haha. I can read traditional Chinese to a certain extent, and some Japanese kanji characters are the same. Korean is a whole different ball game.

Yeah after about 5 minutes :D

vash 02-20-2019 11:15 AM

I’m Chinese and I’ll probably never tattoo myself with any characters. I filed those with tribal arm bands.
