Too bad the city forced Anthony's out. Good little joint on the water by the Star of India.

Lots of good museums in Balboa. Scripps Aquarium up the coast a bit as well.

Anthony's is gone? When? What happened? IT was always good for a OK meal.....but a great view of the harbor!

Seafood Market still down by Seaside village? Still open? Great place!

I'm guessing you're thinking of Point Loma Seafoods but it's not in Seaport Village.


It closed at the end 0f 2017. The Port District felt that such a prime location wasn't bringing in the revenue it could (it wasn't). There is still a Anthony's out in the 'burbs.

Lowryder993 picked me up last night. When I stepped out of the elevator, I knew the evening was going to be special. The hotel lobby was reverberating from the hum of a performance engine at idle.

Good lord. It was yellow and it was Italian.

The conversation was great, the food and drink awesome. Jim took me to where the pretty people live and play. Our hostess was a young version of MaggieQ.

Of course, our luck. We got the only male server.
