Next they need to come up with a cord that keeps it anchored to one spot in the middle of the house so you will always know where it is. Maybe a long coiled stretchy cord would be best.

My phones from early 1970s


On top of the 19" black/white Packard Bell TV, labeled The Astronaut model. Early 60s.

before time. it has no coax, rca jacks, SVHS, or DVI or HDMI inputs, only 2 screws I'm supposed to attach something called Rabbit Ears to get better signal than the single pointable telescoping rod walkie talkie antenna

I actually own a similar hand set that plugs into the iphone lightening port. I’ve even used it for conference calls, though its primarily a novelty item.

Slightly more useful than this novelty tech item which I also own (found it in the airport in Tokyo)

Since we don't have a land line I was thinking of getting one of these for the living room (the old style handset), but the reviews say the sound quality is really bad.
