My 10 year old boy was just diagnosed with cancer

Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with this rare form of cancer:

pediatric nodular lymphocyte predominant hodgkin lymphoma

My wife and I are devastated and just found out via surgical biopsy. My son is going for CT and PET scan this week to do staging. Anyone have any actual experience with this?

I’m not familiar with that cancer. I hope it is curable, or at least treatable.
My grandson died of a wholly different cancer at the age of 7. It is amazing how resilient kids can be.

They provide a plain-language explanation of the path you are been forced to journey. The patient guidelines also provide a glossary of terms that you will be hearing.

i just noticed that you live in Ridgefield. I strongly recommend that you contact Ann's Place. They have Licensed Clinical Social Workers, therapists and support groups for patients and families that can help you in dealing with this.

There is a caregivers support group that meets twice a month. The Caring Group actually meets this coming Wednesday.
