Doing Justice
This is Preet Bhatara’s book on his work as a federal prosecutor, and ultimately US Attorney for the SDNY, the premiere office in the country. The book is great. He’s a terrific story teller, and he goes into the process of investigating and prosecuting bad guys in great detail. He’s also humble—he talks about the mistakes that he and others have made in prosecutions; it’s not one of those typical autobiographies that show the author as the hero of every episode.
One of the best law books I’ve read. Highly recommended. |
