Do you believe in ghosts ?

I have been having some strange experiences at the old house I am working on right now .
First night, there, I am alone it the basement There is a big glass table top, laying up against the basement wall. This is a 3'x6' thick, heavy glass /top, probably weighs 100 lbs or more.
I am 20 feet away from it in the basement. It comes crashing over onto the floor . How it did not break, I have no idea, but I also have no idea , how or why it could have fallen over .
Last nite, I am there by myself again. I am using an electric drill with a big burly wire cup brush on the end of it .
I set it down and go into the adjoining room, when I hear the drill come back on .
I run over and the trigger , and trigger lock are fully engaged . I definitely did turn it off . No way I set it down running, and hearing it turn on is what caught my attention.
The evening before, I was there all alone , late , all buzzed up on polyurethane fumes , and kept getting the overwhelming feeling that someone was watching me . I was up and down the basement stairs 50 times that night, and there was this old walker down there . I had not touched it , not even once . On my last trip down the stairs, to turn the lights off for the night, the walker was now moved to the other side of the basement, and blocking the staircase .
I took that fkign walker home and am tossing it in the dumpster promptly today !
Whatever it is , I don't think it likes me.
Ever had any weird experiences, or stories ?

Both of my daughters swear there's a ghost in our house. I have never had any odd experiences but both of them say they have.

One time.

My brother and I, sitting at the breakfast table, grandma's house. Granddad passed a few years prior.

We watched my milk glass move a little, then slowly tip over and spill. Tipped slow enough him or I could have reached out and stopped it. Nothing touching the glass.

Lasting impression on a 12 year old.

Nothing since.

I'm skeptical but open minded. I'd love to see something that I couldn't explain any other way but paranormally, but it just hasn't happened. Your experience, if it happened to me would be exciting and a little scary. I'd be looking for a hiding spot or trying to figure out what crackhead or mischievous kid was screwing with me.

My first experience was when I was a preteen and visiting family in Kentucky. Our relatives lived in an old mansion that allegedly had been built by a Confederate bigwig. Amazing old house with several nooks and hidden spaces. Quite a remarkable place to hang around in as a youngin.

One day my cousins and I were playing hide and seek and I decided to hide out in the upstairs sewing room, this cool old space with coffered wood walls and tall skinny windows. I always found it appealing because it was off limits to us youngsters.

So there I am laying under the big 12’ central table winning the game and all of sudden with no warning several yards of fabric, tools, and straight edges worked their way off the table and crashed onto the floor. I high-tailed it out of there before you could say boo and never went back.

Fast forward to the present day and I’m starting to think the house I moved into last year (built in the early 1800s by one of the town’s founders) is haunted. Just about every night between 11-2 one can here an occasional wall knocking and what sounds like someone walking on the creaky wood floors on the main level.

I guess that’s a long way of saying “yes I do, absolutely”.

I've never seen or experienced anything that was strange enough to think "ghost!" I have had other "unexplained" experiences, usually like having a vivid dream about someone I hadn't thought of in years, only to find to out they died very recently. That kind of gives you pause.

If you see a ghost, Fred, give 'em a hammer and tell 'em to get to work. Remember, they're more scared of you than you are of them.

I am undecided. Three years ago my live in girlfriend committed suicide in my house. there are times I think she is there. Ever feel like someone is standing close by you? I get that often. like someone is standing in front of me..you know how it feels when you are so close to someone that your foreheads almost touch? yeah that one. sometimes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up...just awkward things. if they were always happening in life maybe I just never noticed it...Guys I don't know. I do know two things.
One - I miss her
Two- that day changed my life forever.
( i was not any part of the reason ..ex husband -- family problems- she and I had ZERO problems )

Had a dream many years ago.
It used one unprovable mythology as proof of a second unprovable mythology.

Won't bore you with the action packed stuff leading to the dramatic ending, but the ending was the quote:

"Of course there are ghosts, what do you think gives cars their personality?"

Still not sure there are ghosts, and I can't prove my car has a personality, but.....

Nope. To me, it all comes down to evidence. For centuries there have been people experiencing unexplained phenomena that is attributed to ghosts, but there is exactly zero evidence that these "ghosts" actually exist. Zero.

So...no. No such thing.
