For my son it was about age 19. He as always into something. Nothing serious, but seriously annoying. He went off to second semester of his second year at college and came back grown up. It was like someone flipped a switch.

They become relatively normal by about 20 , become functioning members of society by 25 . Good luck and hang in there my liver still recovering from my two sons !!

Experiencing it now with a 14yo. An amazing kid who has no idea just how amazing he is.

Been there done that. 3 boys, the odd smells, the fights, the sticky t shirts between the wall and the bed. All normal now, they are great kids. BUT........ preparing for it with my 9YO, she is already getting B.O. is 5'5" and gets creepy looks by people I confront when I notice. it's going to be a wild ride and possibly the death of me, lol.

14, 11, and 8. My 11 year old is the lone daughter and she has been a teenager since she was like 8. I would like to smack the 14 year old over the head on a daily basis. I weep for the future.

Hang in there and with any luck they will turn out fine. My wife and I were fortunate that we survived and did not murder our daughter or our son. They are now both fine productive working adults in their 30s. And kind of fun to be around.

16 yo daughter that just got her license and a 13 yo son.

The secret to having good kids in my opinion? Sports, they are both too tired to ever do anything except eat, homework and sleep.

They do argue some though.
