Yep, $16 is a movie and a dr drink, not enough for popcorn.

Ditto. I signed up for one month free trials twice after seeing Netflix-only series on long flights, and I just had to watch the rest of the shows. Every time I searched for something else, they never had it. I mean never. WTF? Will never pay them a dime. Amazon Prime is ok, since I pay the annual fee for the shipping benefit. Otherwise, the tv stuff wouldn't be worth a dime to me.

Have you netflix haters tried searching Porsche?

I admit their search function sucks donkey parts but if I dig around a little I can almost always find something interesting to watch.

Watched 'tigers of Scotland' last night... yeah, I know, a wildlife documentary but there are tons of automobile shows on there.

My wife has Netflix.

I've checked it out a couple of times, never saw anything that I considered worth wasting my time watching. I must not be doing it right.

Just turned my TV on and got a notice that my YouTube TV is going up from $40 to $50/ month!

There’s a new game coming to town.

They are going straight at the cable industry.

Next step is providing true 5G to the home.

And no, ATT despite what they claim is not offering true 5G

China is leading the way with 5G and will control most global high capacity online while we are watching reality TV.

Yeah but if we don’t watch TV how are we going to know which bathrooms to use and what pronouns to address our non-binary friends with? How are we going to know which of the midget socialites makeup lines we are supposed to buy?

$12 is the cost of one movie ticket.
Family of 4 will pay $50 to see one movie.

Netflix the bargain of the century even at $50/mo

I figure, with the money you save from going to movies, you can buy a big screen (and they get bigger and cheaper every Year) and buy the DVDs when the movies hit Best Buy, course. I'm a cheap SOB, so I don't do either, lol

5G transmission is about as safe as sticking your head in a microwave.
There will be lawsuits.
Wait and see..

Snacks not included in that $50 equation. I'm trying to be smart in choosing the movie that my family and I will watch in the theater. Before, we wait for the reviews to come out but it's subjective and often not reliable. Now we only stick on watching movies from Disney/Marvel on the theater just to play it safe and wait to stream for other fresh movies which feel sucks.

sammyg2 04-11-2019 07:14 AM

I go to the movies at least once per decade. And when I do you can bet it's a matinee and I ain't paying no stinking tree fiddy for a small popcorn.
a fool and his money … are my best friends.

Netflix doesn't show full length newly-released movies like you'd see in the theatre.
Based only on what I saw the couple of times I searched, they only show crap.
$5 a month would be too much IMO, YMMV

fastfredracing 04-12-2019 02:53 PM

I would still be in at $50 a month http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1555106032.jpg
