Sounds like good stuff. My old garage is all concrete and VERY porous. I poured/painted some bitumen stuff on which soaked into the old concrete then set. Wow, a huge difference. Porsche stays dry

Tape all plywood edges and flashing, wrap ends with torch-down waterproof membrane, apply bitumen glue over entire roof sealing it, then apply shingles or metal roof on top of dat.
