Foreign Influence In The Presidential Election

https://www.wsj.com/articles/former-rap-artist-indicted-for-obama-2012-campaign-donations-11557522077

Quote:
Former Fugees rapper Pras Michel was indicted on charges of funneling millions of dollars in foreign money to then President Obama’s 2012 re-election effort, amid widening fallout of the multibillion-dollar fraud scandal at a Malaysian government fund.

The scandal has toppled Malaysia’s prime minister, threatened Goldman Sachs Group Inc. with criminal charges, and ensnared both Republican and Democratic fundraisers.

An indictment charging Mr. Michel with four counts including conspiracy to defraud the U.S. and making foreign campaign contributions was unsealed Friday.

The founding member of the Fugees hip-hop group was accused of taking money from a Malaysian businessman, who is the alleged mastermind of the fraud at Malaysia’s 1MDB fund, and using around $2 million to support Mr. Obama’s campaign.

Well, that post seems pretty PARFy, but that's a good gig (The 1MDB scam/scandal) if you can get away with it and have no conscience, I guess.

Wrong forum but I'm sure it will get some serious play over in PARF. They hate Obama over there.

No opportunity ever missed for a right wing CJ over there (or at least that's how it was when I was still allowed in).

You still don't get it, do you?

It was always about his policies and "accomplishments" (and non-accomplishments). It wasn't personal.

The Fast and Furious debacle, weaponizing the IRS to go after conservative groups, his and Hillary's non-action when the consulate in Benghazi was asking for more security weeks (months?) before the attack, etc.

I'm sure you understand.

Try to keep up.

3...2...1...to PARF

It’s also about the hypocrisy.

Relentless Russia, Russia, Russia over election collaboration that everyone knew was fake. Meanwhile this will not see the light of day, or one moment of investigation by our congress. And this election influence by a Foriegn entity actually happened...and the campaign accepted the Foriegn donations.

Hypocrisy. Look it up.

US charges Malaysian tycoon Jho Low and ex-Fugees rapper Prakazrel ‘Pras’ Michel with making illegal donations in 2012 election

Candidate not revealed in document, but Michel was an avid Barack Obama supporter who donated to committee supporting former president
Anyway, wrong forum.

Quote:

The indictment did not reveal the identity of the presidential candidate.

However, Michel, who is a US citizen, was a well-known avid supporter of former Democratic president Barack Obama, and federal election records show he contributed money to political committees that supported Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign and other Democratic committees.

Maybe not, but Jho Low has his share of problems right now.

His lawyer is busy reminding everyone that his client is to be presumed innocent.

If someone wants a detailed study in hypocrisy, then observing the bizarre, apologistic hero-worship of our Bullshiiter in Chief, by many in PARF, is the way to go.
