Computer help

My desktop has been running slowly and I want to clean up cookies as a start. I know I can nuke ALL of them but I'd rather selectively clean them out of Windows 10.

help plz?

CCleaner cleanup will give you a long list of cookies etc,
defrag the HD (but not if using an SSD though),
scan with WindowsDefender (rootkit on) or better yet Malwarebytes,
use Win10 internal memory test which runs after startup,
Task Manager/Startup/disable all unnecessary programs, the Performance tab shows what is being a hog,
go through Win10 Apps control panel and turn off 'sharing' on everything not used.
