Oh yeah, it's definitely one of those! I'm pretty sure it's part of the intergalactic guidance system for a ship from the nebulon system. |
Looks like part of an awning.
|
thanks
about $500 of SS cable let alone the fancy end bits that are also SS maybe anti-guidance like stay here NOW as the cable is 22k lbs working load and the end bits look stronger |

I'm thinking tent or temporary stage rigging.
|
maybe but there are 5 of them
and a stage or tent would have 4 not 5 if square like most are and again why so heavy strong and SS construction most stage or tent stuff would be cheaper galvanized and not 22k working load I think it is to hold down something very securely |
So that fan shape thing goes in the ground? What are the holes in it for? Any pics of this thing in its entirety?
|
Looks like some fancy nautical rigging.
|
Yep...Inter-galactic solar wind sail...missing it's drunken crew....and boat!

and the holes in the plates attach to the load but that is a guess there are faint marks by the holes like a missing part lapped about 1'' over the holes the cables are 32 to 38 ft long and form a 5 sided pentagram maybe an aircraft hold down rig missing the parts that go to the aircraft ? |
Remove all the loose cables, take a straight on picture of that thing with a neutral contrasting background and upload it to google images. It's obviously something well known in the rigging or awning trade, but you just need a good image so google can search it out for you. Be sure to wear your tin-foil hat while you do it, just in case it's an intergalactic antenna.....

Is it radioactive?
