First hybrid-electric airliner

I wonder what the battery range would be?
Should be quieter in-flight.

Not really much quieter.

That looks like a big jet engine. Most of the noise is the compression of the air. Like an electric leaf blower on steroids. And it is still a hybrid so it needs jet power to take off I bet.

A more complicated airliner, no thanks.

They have to do SOMETHING with the A380's

Just think of the energy savings with regenerative braking.

Surely an energy credit for using them.
