NordVPN, ExpressVPN, etc....which do you use?
Want to start using a VPN service for all my devices. Travel a lot and refuse to jump on public wifi, and don't want to rely on my work VPN, and use too much data with my phone as a hotspot...
What are ya'll using? They all seem to be similar. Some complaints of Nord being slower.

unlimited data plan on phone but no pairing. should i need to use my laptop then SOCKS5 proxy via SSH tunnel or I simply tunnel X11 over SSH and use a remote desktop session or application.
I also may or may not have spoofed the MAC address of a in-room "Smart TV" and borrowed its network cable to get a good high speed connection ... |

Set up your own, it's not hard.
Publish your external IP into any of the dynamic DNS services. I find OpenVPN works well. Can use certs for auth/crypt and/or OTP/OATH if desired, otherwise just use plain old login creds. FOSS. App(s) for Android (i'd use the official one).. Run the endpoint on your router (a router flashable with DD-WRT is like $40 these days - and far more functional than anything your ISP gave you), Or run it on a machine inside the firewall - just forward the required ports. Or spin up a small cloud instance from any one of a dozen or 3 providers with the appropriate software and use that. Costs pennies.

The question is what do you need to access? If, just the Internet, then I’m sure they are fine, but if it’s specific internal applications look at Netmotion Software

I'm liking Private Internet Access (PIA). They don't have thousands of servers all over the world (just about 100) but speeds are good. I get about 50 down and 5 up when connecting out of anywhere in western US. I think I paid $38 for a year, can have 5 devices connected concurrently.
I use it whenever on public WiFi, airlines, hotels, etc. And when *ahem* acquiring certain things online.
