Does such a thing exist?

I've been looking around on google and can't find any. Plenty of american cars. Lots of Porsche themed t shirts

Thanks Guys

An Aloha shirt with little 911s on it, along with some palm trees, would rock.

The closest I've seen is VW Bugs or drag cars ..

Reyn Spooner makes car print aloha shirts, but I haven't seen a Porsche themed one. There are Corvette, Woody and race car ones.

Really expensive German sports cars that are typically owned by older white guys don't really fit with the whole Hawaii vibe...

Think back to when you were in SoCal... I see any number of guys driving 911's with Hawaiian shirts, cargo pants, and flip flops.

Yea it even struck me as a bit weird then. To each their own I guess but when I think Hawaii (or 1960s CA) I think of guys driving around in older muscle cars or in beat-up VW busses, possibly "woody" station wagons, not $90k sports cars. An old rich white dude driving a Porsche doesn't conjure up images of Hawaiian culture to me - someone of more Polynesian descent happily heading off to Waimea bay in an old station wagon with a couple of surfboards on the roof does. Just my $0.02. My Hawaiian shirts have flowers, palm trees and surfboards, not expensive imported sports cars.

But hey - do what makes ya happy.

Contact Spooner direct, they used to do shirts of 50+ for private parties. Maybe you could get Wayne interested if a Pelican gets slipped in......since the founder died, things have changed. Quality has slipped, they used to be wash, wear, no iron. Prices have gone up.....

Small world. I used to surf with the owner's son Timmy when we were kids. We had a book signing get-together @ Reyn's a few years ago, and all the old Oahu surfers were there.

I'll keep an eye open for you Porchdog .. I often go through racks of old Aloha shirts (as if I need any more) and a LOT of them are Spooners. PM me your size ..

Funny, Motion, that you brought that one up. The "angela" who bought that shirt was me. Bought it for Steve and we still have it. I found one in my size a year or so later and picked that up as well.

I may not be the typical owner. I bought the car 20+ years ago in my early 30's cheap. I've taken to the "hawaiin" style shirts in the last few years. Actually, I could care less if people don't think I fit some "vibe".
