So I’ve got it pretty much buttoned up w the exception of a few maintenance items like wheel bearings. The engine is back together and ready to start once I straighten out the fuel pump situation. I could have had it running today but too busy getting ready to leave town for a couple weeks.

Here are a couple shots of the interior back together, just to keep the thread alive:

I can’t wait to tune it and drive it. For now, it sleeps.

Beautiful work on the dash.

I had a 69 250 I think, that I completely hated, lots of pot metal used and the fuel pump used Allen head fasteners that are of course covered by the bell of the pump, so a bear to access- bolts would have been easy.

There was a ton of room in the engine compartment, but I remember that they had made “everything” so difficult to get to.

Ride was living room excellent though!

I found a pretty good *before* picture of the dash/interior from the day I picked up the car. It’s filthy and if you zoom in on the dash, you can see the wood condition. I’m pleased with the difference:

Thanks, Don. I’m happy w it but also feel like I could have done better w the final finish; I used some Verathane that I had laying around and it’s ok but could have used lacquer for a flatter finish. It will never be a show car or highly valuable, though, so all good.

I did hit the color pretty darn good, though.
