$20 for a decent toy grade radio control sub!

https://www.amazon.com/Control-Submarine-Electric-Waterproof-Submarine/dp/B077N8R7S7/ref=sr_1_30?crid=1BQ9NY6X44YXG&keywords=r%2Fc+submarines&qid=1564683832&s=gateway&sprefix=r%2Fc+subm%2Caps%2C224&sr=8-30

Cheaper direct from China.

https://www.banggood.com/6CH-Speed-Radio-Remote-Control-Electric-Mini-RC-Submarine-Boat-Kids-Children-Toy-p-1229569.html?rmmds=detail-left-hotproducts__3&ID=231&cur_warehouse=CN

long radio range.....like 40-50 FEET.
buy both blue and yellow. you then can race/combat each other on 27 mhz and 40 mhz

it's like 3D chess...........note in my 180 gallon (2x2x6') fish tank, I've hung 6" speaker rings, and some fishing floats for gates to carve through.

Note being both a Scuba Dive Instructor, and Anall Engineer, I zip tied a nut ballast in front of the Conning Tower, so you can then slide forward or back to perfectly trim out for level running. Nut, I grinder'd down lighter it for perfect weight.

Remember, the above, has a bladder. full micro control at neutral buoyancy.
Has a Stern Side Thruster for steering. single screw rear.

SPEED DEMON

If you want a micro sub race car, these are FAST

note, I bought a blue and a black....they both came on same freq. 27 mhz . can't run both.

full up down motor impeller, twin rear screws, differential for steering.

???'s

just ask.

Stay away from others cheap toy grades. went straight in the garbage right out of the box.

DAMMNNNNN CHEAP FUN IN A AQUARIUM, POOL, OR HOT TUB.

back then it had no remote but looks very much like it even the yellow shade

NOTA I remember those. didn't you put an alkaseltzer in there or something to make it float or sink somehow?

OP does it actually take on water to control depth?

yes one in photos uses a full micro adj bladder tank.

millisecond button tap tap, is all it takes to slowly climb or descend........or when you fully blow ballast it comes up quickly. (good combat move)

The 2nd unit with propeller for up/down, is a vertical race horse too. jumps out of the water damnn near.

for $20 bucks.....

When I was a youngster, I had the plastic toy sub (blue and white) that you dropped tablets in and let go in a pool. The sub would first sink and then slowly rise back up.

"Is that a toy submarine in your pocket or are you just glad to see me?"

Somebody had to say it.
