Years and Years
Anyone else watched this? You can stream it on HBO GO!
BBC/HBO production. Premise: Story about older siblings in a family starting in 2019. Each Episode, they jump ahead a year or two. Family is pretty dysfunctional. Group is centered around their grandmother. Most of the plot is how people are losing their jobs to automation, etc, the further advancement of the internet/computers and people integrating, displaced people and how poorly they are treated and the "plain talking" politicians/populists. The story all takes place in England. And of course, there is the usual infidelity...

I watched the series and I am originally from the UK. I enjoyed it at first but it got a little stupid with it trying to make people think "oh that's what's happening today!" which I thought was a little sloppy in the thinking department. Felt like they started out wanting to make a 12 part series but at episode 5 they found out that they only had enough money to make another few episodes
