Just because it CAN be done does not mean it should be done.

At least they did not use my money. 100% waste of time and effort in my opinion, but they care as much about my opinion as I do their opinion or that project.

People have been sticking crazy high HP engines in small cars for several generations.

So what's up with the yellow, blue, and purple smoke?
tires don't normally do that.

Drift tires come in different colors of smoke now.

Tire companies make special burnout tires with colored smoke.

I think Kumho may have started it, but there are now others.

This is from 2007.

I think the 'spokesman' (builder?) seemed bright enough but the whole idea of that video shows me absolutely nothing. I'd be ashamed.

Be interesting to see if they could tame that beast enough to get it down a 1/4 mile. That might make some sense to me and I'm not a drag race kind of guy. Ran once and went home to never return (respectable time/speed). Lions no less.

I think the engine is in the wrong location to make it quickly down the drag strip.

I missed out on lions drag strip, but made lots of passes at OCIR in my yoot.
Loved it, especially the bug-ins every 6 months.

So you build a car whose only purpose is to destroy tires? Clever

I've never been a burnout, or drift fan, but that craziness would be fun.

So, who's gonna be first to stuff a hellcat motor in a 914?

Consider the gauntlet dropped.
Or thrown. Or slapped, Whatever.
It's a double-dog dare.
