Never has...his usual answer is that it meant he never had to work again. His notes from when writing the song recently auctioned for a few million, if I recall correctly.

It took me by surprise last night at the gig to have a twelve-year-old girl request the song. She was there with her mom and grandmother. Grandma was my age.
I couldn't remember half the words.

I just like the tune, never thought deeply about the meaning of each line...I leave that for they poets, and song writers.
