Harley tin parts 2015 install on 1994 RK !

First all HD owners please refrain.
thanx
As i have said many times B4 my bike is always under an evolution of change.
I have been doing a lot of work on the power for the last five years.
Now for something completely different-
The 1994 EVO RK is in stock black, with some silver and worn faded parts.
I was thinking of busting out the sandpaper, make it all pretty again...but I ran across a whole tin set for a thousand bucks.
Bags , fairing, side covers, fenders

I BOUGHT IT.

It looks like most the stuff will bolt up!
Amazing!
I have to solve the tank issue as it has a large hole where an electric fuel pump once resided.
Perhaps find a burnt out pump? bust it out of the cover..not sure.
Anyone know of any other problems with this conversion?
Its Greenish with ghost flames...not too shabby!

If you’d just lose the PARF triggering and actually tried to digest what he said, you’d have understood. You looked at who posted, not what was posted and then made a rash conclusion.

Maybe you just don’t get the regular Off Topic vibe?

Don’t be a dick.

I bought the painted set.
It was cheaper than me painting the stuff!
1000 bucks!
No core.
Anymore it cost about 600 bucks in materials just for a small job!
2015 Road Glide --tank, fenders, bags, fairing. side covers. All related parts.
No trunk.
Now I can keep the original painted RK tin as it is/was from the factory.
At some point, it will make the old 1994 EVo RK worth a dollar more to have the original crap.

No, it is not a superbike, but I already know it beats much larger bore and stroke stuff in or near the Harley framework.
With the raised ports i am getting to the end of the line for mods with a wimpy case.
They are prone to breaking in stock form!
I have modded this with so much stuff for such a long time, truly do not remember it all.
But the BEST mod of all was-
Was the fresh Swing bushings with a" Tour Link thingy."
It is the most stable platform I have ever road.
The Honda F6B is a lot more wobbly!
Road snakes, cracks, ETC> send nothing to the operator.
Grated steel bridges are almost a none feel.
I am aware because I am experienced enough to know they are and there, and know what the outcome if wet.

There you have the whole story.
What are you building/ making?

I like a Sportster.
The only thing is,- in the old days (not sure now) they had to be taken apart from the jump to make them run.
My old Iron head went from coast to coast and every state except the two.
Bonnie and Truitt swiss cheesed the wheels.
It was a smooth runner.
The new guys there do it the S&S way last time I asked them...
In fact, they are such a sad bunch i told them I want to double plug my whatever it as at the time...i got a lecture as to why not to ......
Needless to say, I am not their customer anymore.

So far these pieces are all just alike but different.......
I will post pics.
So far, -
The front fender needs the hole spacing moved apart about a 1/4 inch.
So what is a road king King crossed with a Road glide/ ??

King Glide?

Bought a bike a few months ago. Came with a spare set of tin. The wolf means a 20hp boost. And not to mention you’ll be swimming in pussy.

Yours for the low low price of $900

Not sure where you picked that bike up from, there was a guy from the Chicago area that had that tank/tins on his bike. I looked for the (R) next to the Harley decal, and he said he had it air brushed some years back.

Looking good...

So, I thought there was a frame change made in the early 20-teens that would have precluded the tin fitting previous frames. My 2013 has the new frame (which fixes your afore mentioned swingarm pivot wobble), and it is markedly different than the frame on my 2000 RK, which would be identical to your EVO RK frame. Yet it all bolted right up? That's good news, really.

I love your comments on internet "experts". Rewind the tape to about a week ago, and I was taking that position on your Twinkie thread.

I like it and think it looks great!

Of course I’m a bit biased, I had an ‘06 EG till last year when I sold it to a buddy and bought a new RG.
