I was supposed to have left the country for business the Sunday at the beginning of Harvey. I was quite pleased when they cancelled all the IAH flights so I didn't have to make that decision/trip...

Seriously... What have you guys done? You keep getting hammered. :(

Weather reports say it is similar to Harvey, a High Pressure system is blocking it from moving north and the depression is moving very slowly... thus lots of rain. I suspect a lot of people are going to have some form of PTSD...

I was stuck in Romania/France for Ike. I was one of the first people to fly into Bush they day it opened. I had to "position" myself in Minneapolis!

More like Allison. Rain fall, except near coast, should be 1/4th that of Harvey. And the rain is not falling where it will fill the Addicks or Barker reservoirs.

Just upgraded to Tropical Depression. Still possible to be upgraded to Tropical Storm.

Very slow moving storm. It will take 12 hours to go from just south of Houston (Angleton) to Spring/Woodlands.

It is now tropical storm Imelda.

Slow is right. Just a few sprinkles today, but you can watch it spinning just south on the radar.

Lots of water spinning around out there.
