Yes, close to me... where I am on Long Island was huge in the wartime efforts...

WWI,WWII, Korea Vietnam..

Most are gone or consolidated, Raytheon. Sperry, Fairchild/Republic, Grumman..

Many skilled specialty shops are closing..

Though I was never much a fan of Barlow’s lyrics, I recently finished his autobiography. What an interesting life. Very well written too.

Just started the Owsley biography. Another very interesting life.

Both guys make me feel as though I’ve accomplished absolutely nothing in life

Certainly my favorite book that I own, wish I could remember the cool story of it's acquisition.
