Returning Bali Traveler
Has anybody been to Bali before? Any recommendations on hotels, villas or tours? Or best areas to stay? Just in Bali now and can’t wait to come back so starting to find the best options. Traveling in February again next year.

I've been to Bali, we flew in with 1 nights accommodation booked, from there we just made it up as we went along,
Thoroughly recommend this way of travelling as you never know where you'll end up and what you'll see Was nearly 20 yrs ago so can't remember too many details but do remember we really enjoyed it Would love to go back once I've run out of other places in the world to see Ubud, chilled out hippy vibe in the centre with lots of terraced paddy fields Amed Beach, black volcanic sand that sparkled like diamonds Lovina, most amazing sea shells rolling around in the surf there

Agree with Captain Ahab. Great way to travel. We've been going for so long and have made so many Balinese friends that we always stay up around Ubud just so we can visit with them. Laid back area with great food and lodging. Fairly central to venture out on day trips.
This place is in a great area and owned by a really interesting kid. https://maluhiahaven.com/ |
