Blasphemous

I have gotten the C8 2LT Corvette bug.
What is not right is that I will be selling my perfect 911 Carrera. 94k miles but
I love the car.
These old timers that I hook up with in our retirement age are still going after cars they don't need but want.

I mean, It is one thing to be cruising the Blvd in a Carrera at my age but a mid engine 490 HP Triple Black with camel brown interior and a clear plexiglass cover over the engine is too much to resist.

I have owned a 66 and a 67 stock in the past and got burned in the seventies, like a lot of us with the Vega, Pinto, cheap plastic El Camino and Rancheros.

I haven't dropped the down payment because I don't trust the hype.
Is it a crime to off the Porsche or any other high end sports car for a Chevy?

Shun! Shun the non believer!

Life is short...buy what you think will give you enjoyment. Sell what doesn't.

On a new model like the mid engine 'Vette, you might consider waiting a bit to see if there are issues...the hype is strong right now.

Uh... isn't one of the parts of the "triple" in "triple black" the interior? So if it's triple black, isn't that either (car dependent) - black paint, black interior and black top or black paint, black interior and black-wall tires?

If this was 1973-1980, I'd say you were insane as those corvettes were junk. But, these days, the corvette's a pretty impressive machine on many levels.

I think I'd enjoy one and it wouldn't even have to be the C8.

At least you aren't talking about getting one of the new Bullitt mustangs!

I went from an SC to a C6 Z06. Two completely different cars. The SC was a nice driving car. The Z06 has gobs of power and I can spin the rear wheels with little effort whenever I want.
I say go for it, we're all car guys/gals here.

I never really knew what "triple black" meant. Thanks for the schooling. I for some reason thought it was just a quality high end gloss black paint job.

So.. no triple black for me. I got to have the leather camel interior. Single Black I guess.
