More contact less ATM’s are coming on line everyday.

I like using <phone of choice> pay to pay at gas stations.

I assume for that to work with ATMs your card would have to support it. I don't believe all cards support NFC or RFID or whatever the tech is, do they.

Although some cards like one of my Chase cards support touch less this is not the same.

Think of touch less pay using your phone.

ATM’s are now supporting using your phone in place of your physical card.

Ah, got it Apple/Android/Samsung/etc pay.

I thought you were talking about some of the cards (not the majority) that support RFID.

All of the new credit/debit cards have the capability to tap and pay, just like using Apple Pay with your phone.. Simply tap them on that pad and it works. Same as using your phone. Thats what the pad on the right is for. The new cards also do not have the typical stamped digits anymore either. They are printed on the card now.
