Long ago when the Commodore 64 was the king of home computing I did my own taxes on my computer. I did own a home, so I had some few deductions, but a straight paycheck, and no dependents. After a day of work I ran the taxes, and it came to ZERO. No taxes owned no refund. I figured that was not possible, so I started from scratch, and did it again. Same result. So I sent in my tax return. Several moths later they sent me a letter and said I owed something like 12 bucks. I cut a check that day and sent it in. I was not going to fight for 12 bucks, especially when I had no idea if I was really right or not.

I recall an earlier post you spoke of increased health issues. Possibly all this IRS crap?

It has certainly not helped. It’s been sort of like 6 solid months of living the emotional equivalent of last 30 seconds of a tied Super Bowl.
I traded it in for a different kind of stress this morning - up on ladders and scaffolding putting lights up in the trusses of my barn.

I will visit my daughter in Oxford during thanksgiving. Maybe see the glow of your lights!
