1-6-2-5 .... 1-4-1-5

This is a longshot, but wondering if anybody understands this code. Hint: Music.

1-5-3-2-6-4

The firing order of my 73 Datsun 240Z.

Haven’t had it for over 35 years, but still remember it.

That would be a good song.

chord progression.
just name the key you want to play in.

I may be wrong but I think that is the "Nashville notation"

key if G

1-G
2-Amin
3-Bmin
4-C
5-D
6-Emin
7-F#DIM

I don't know the piano that well but on guitar you really don't even have to know the chord names you are playing other than the root chord or key to play a 1,6,2,5 song.

I am sick and tired of 1-5-6-4 in pop these days, including the variation 6-4-1-5.

Lot of 1-4-5 here. Simple rock, blues, and punk.

Nashville style of notating chord changes. If you called out a "B" players might interpret "C or D" and it screws everything up.

But if you're playing an "E" chord and want to go to the "A", you can say or sign "4" and all is right with the song.
