I really hope Kimi stay's in F1
https://www.planetf1.com/news/kimi-raikkonen-first-alfa-romeo/ Norris will be my favourite driver then, if Kimi isn't racing, even stayed behind one race to help the mechanics pack up! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9GW8pL_jUM |
Absolutely - I think Kimi has become my all-time favorite F1 driver. I just love his attitude, his approach to the whole thing.
|
I think Kimi is past his "best by" date. He hasn't been a factor in a race in several seasons and he seems content to fight Williams for last place.
|
My god is F1 horrid nowadays. The sport of my childhood heroes is reduced to computer algorithms. The Indy race today was fun, should be fun as well tomorrow. The NASCAR race made F1 qualifying dulll and that’s a tough nut to top .

So if a driver is not currently competitive, he can no longer be in consideration for a "favorite all-time driver"? Quote:

Mugello is a beautiful circuit. It’s fun to see some new locations this season. Looking forward to a good race.
|
If these drivers are supposed to be the best of the best they sure aren't showing it . What an ugly start/restart .
|
Hope they got lots of fuel in the pace car
This is going to be a doozy

Today’s race turned out to be a huge time suck, no real surprise at the end, I turned it off when the political T-shirts showed up.
|
Congratulations to Albon for the podium finish and Riccardo drove very well . I would love to see Russell in Botas's car .
|
A few pile ups always spice things up.
Good for Kimi. |
The website GP Today is reporting that chemical giant Ineos will purchase 70 percent of the Mercedes F1 team and rebrand . They also stated Toto Wolf will move to Aston Martin F1 next year . Quite a bombshell if accurate .
|
England's richest dude Jim Radcliffe and Ineos to buy 70 percent share of the team per an interview Sunday with former team owner Eddie Jordan . If this is true I wonder what affect it has on Hamilton contract talks .
|
F1 was not quite the pinnacle of motorsports today.
I feel a little for Bottas. He beat Hamilton on two of the three starts. Unfortunately, the third one was the one that mattered. |
F1 has been made so much more enjoyable to the fans by self-righteous drivers ramming their pet social justice causes down our throats. I really enjoy the well-planned (even to the point of printing up T-shirts in advance  ) somber victory podiums today compared to the genuine joy and emotion of drivers in days past. Can't wait for the next race :D

No grid girls or national flags but they get to act stupid  And what's even more annoying is that not one driver is from the US nor has an interest in what occurs here. But dang if they don't want to insert their politics into our lives from across the pond. |
^I am very glad I missed that.
