100 hours community service requirements two counties requiring same amount

Lady friend who has a son with legal transgressions and he must provide 100 hours of community service for one Ohio county and 100 hours for another to keep his tit out of a ringer.

Can he perform 100 hours and provide this effort to both counties?

I suspect not. I am thinking each county will require original service delivered documents and not copies. Kind of like cash.

They will likely require it within the county lines, and at least somewhat verified by county officials. He's looking at 200 hours of labor, which seems like a lot, which means he probably deserves it

Is one nut in a vice any better than two?

Nope! Without going into details, each charge has its own conclusion and restitution.
You might be able to work something out if both can be done in/at the same place. Hour accumulation can be subjective.

All hours are being accumulated in Stark county (Canton) via their road crew community service. He owes 100 to Stark

The other county, Portage, accepts hours served in Stark. They are adjacent.

He needs to call his atty.

Just texted his Mom and asked if I could call the two courthouses and simply ask them.

She said he actually did that at lunch today after she leaned on him to gain clarity. I mean the kid (32) has only know about this for months and now there are only two weeks left to finish.

The same 100 hours may be used in each county. A bullet dodged.

Addiction is so unfortunate.

Thanks again for your input.
