So. Who be shorting cruise line stocks?

Ya could be making major ducats. Let’s hear your stories. I hate cruise lines. Fat *******s being *******s.

LWJ 02-10-2020 10:16 AM

Damn. You have a point.

speeder 02-10-2020 10:58 AM

It's logical but the only thing that stops me is that I know nothing about the industry...it's never appealed to me to be stuck on some giant, floating resort and I just know nothing.

GH85Carrera 02-11-2020 06:18 AM

I bet the cruise lines are offering some big discounts now.

Arizona_928 02-11-2020 01:07 PM

I would rather do a cargo cruise than those pos luxury ones.

I bet Air China flights are cheap too. Trouble is I wanted a return flight but they are only selling one way.

I think it was Princess Cruises that was reimbursing the guests for their cruise, and giving them a voucher for a new cruise after they are off quarantine. Imagine the losses for that, plus all the costs to house, feed and care everyone under quarantine...

Employees working for free or still counting on the tips.

jhynesrockmtn 02-13-2020 10:33 AM

My wife's boss has a Hawaii cruise booked for the first week in March. She can't believe he is still getting on that boat.

Bill Douglas 02-13-2020 10:58 AM

Ha, Princess Cruises had an ad' on TV last night with big discounts.

Oh Yeah :(

Joe Bob 02-13-2020 11:03 AM

You’ll never catch me on one of those floating hell holes. But if I had the money I’d short their stock. I know it will tank soon.

pmax 02-13-2020 11:40 AM

5% right there !

I'd rather have a root canal than to go on a cruise.

kevin993 02-13-2020 06:31 PM

Isn't all the bad news already priced in? May take some time to recover, but wouldn't this be the time to buy?

red-beard 02-13-2020 07:18 PM

Celebrity X cruises are using Jefferson Airplane's "White Rabbit" as background music...

jyl 02-13-2020 09:24 PM

I’d like to try a short one, like 4 days.

LWJ 02-25-2020 09:49 AM

Good market advice JoeBob.

CCL (Carnival) was $41.84 on 2/10 when you wrote this.

Its $36.04 today 2/25.

Having never bought puts, I don't know if this is enough spread to pay?

Joe Bob 02-25-2020 01:04 PM

Check out the number of cruise line ads on TV.....should be more than Insurance ads by Summer. They will all tank more.....

pmax 02-28-2020 09:14 AM

Forget this...

Buy bleach.
